Direct cremation or Burial
A modest cremation or burial is a service for people who may have expressed their wishes not to have a funeral. A celebration of life or more commonly known as a wake can still take place if required in memory of your loved one whilst still respecting their funeral wishes.
The service includes bringing your loved one into our funeral home, legal paper work, basic coffin and a cremation at a local crematorium. The service is normally taken place before the crematorium opens and no family members attend the service. The date for the service is set at a convenient time for the crematorium. No chapels visits or embalming treatments, however you may wish us to place some personal items with your loved one.
After the service the ashes may be scattered at the crematorium or we can keep them safe for you at our funeral home until your ready to collect them. The service is still respectful and your loved one is taken to the crematorium (or burial site) in our modern hearse with four pall bearers.
